I wish I had some great stories to tell you…Life is becoming routine and busy which, for me, is nice. I like busy and the routine is just that the same groups of us hang out. My kids continue to amaze me every day.
Kay, my little tom-boy, is torn between Oliver and Sean for who she is better friends with and “in love” with that day. The boys cannot stand any affection, but still crave it when they see Victoria or Velina asking for it. Music makes out days go round and round. They love to sing and dance and we are working on mimicking my movements. It is prep for graduation in another 9 months.
All of my boys are in alpha-male mode most of the time. There are many fights and rifts between them, but are learning that I will not tolerate the fighting they do not have to like each other, but they will endure each other’s company in class.
My afternoon classes and I have been having more fun than usual. In my 3:00 I was being asked odd questions; the annoying type: “Why” this and that. So I have created a set of three Roman God-ish Characters that sit around and explain/control the why’s of the world in ridiculous manners. I just need to name them; the main one is a really big guy who speaks slowly with over enunciation of his words and smokes a lot-a drag between each word. His left hand guy is a sniveling weakling of a man who is a plain idiot and his right hand man is eager to please and overly enthusiastic.
It turns out that Sunday the sun shines, hence the name; Monday is “my first” day (roman god-ish #1), hence Monday; thusly Tuesday is two; they weren’t sure ‘when” Wednesday was; Thursday is third (because they forgot when Wednesday was); Friday was the day they fried things; and finally, on Saturday they sat. The kids ate it up! And we will have them back once a week to answer different questions.
