It is really late Sunday. Usually I am tired on Saturdays and allow myself to sleep, but this Saturday I had to work and then went downtown. Sunday was pretty much spent in a coma of exhaustion. I feel guilty for wasting a day, but will be better off at work due to the sleep.
Lots of stories to type up and tell; last week we went to the zoo and had an event to raise awareness for the other LCI school at Bong-Song-Dong called English Village.
I also took somewhere around 1000 pictures in four days. My name is Cassandra and I have a picture taking problem.
I also have an exhaustion that leads to procrastination problem. I will have stories posted throughout this upcoming week about the latest events and pictures edited and posted. One last thing:
The former president of South Korea, Roh Moo-hyun, committed suicide on Saturday. Many of the people really liked him and there already seems to be another backlash against the current president who is not liked. Manila (female boss) was talking last night about how Won-Jon –Nim (her husband and my other boss) had wanted to call off the English Village because of it. She had to convince him that going ahead is what was best for the business and etc. all the money and time spent and the teachers/kids involved. A couple of the teachers were crying over it too. I felt bad that I was feeling unaffected; that most of us (foreign teachers) were feeling unaffected.
